A collection and exhibition as part of my MA in Fine Art at Falmouth University. These experimental pieces evoke unseen, elemental forces; where traces of latent energy pulse across a landscape that is subdued, but not submissive.

The Sublime
Themes of transition, flux and the sublime are explored using material metaphors across surfaces as paintings evolve through multiple layers.
FENS
All is not as it seems, the fields are host to ancient waterways and their traces remain. Their silty flow spans time and sediments yearn to be reunited with the rivers and the seas of the past and their future.
Reclamation
A series of abstract pieces exploring the themes of transformation, loss and traces of the past across the landscapes of the fens in East Anglia.
SEA
The shapes and geographic ‘shapeshifting’ caused by seasonality, light and the passing of time at the coastlines or Norfolk and the Jurassic Coast.
Winter
Inspired by the snow fields at Magog Down in Cambridge, UK on the coldest of days.
